Royal Palm Springs Golf Club Port Dickson 2009 -2011
This was the official website of the Royal Palm Springs Golf Club Port Dickson, located in the peaceful and popular seaside town of Port Dickson, Malaysia. Content is from the site's 2009 -2010 archived pages.
Negeri Sembilan is a Malaysian state on the Malay Peninsula's southwest coast, known for its beaches, nature parks and palaces. To the west, on the Malacca Strait, the area around Port Dickson has seaside resorts, the Wan Loong Chinese Temple and the Kota Lukut hilltop fort. Although Port Dickson is more famous for its attractive beaches, I had instead stayed with my family at the TITI Eco Farm Resort where you can enjoy an organic lifestyle in a farm-styled resort. It was just one of the family trips I planned when we were stationed for a year in Kuala Lumpur, the capital of Malaysia. I admit that I did not play golf at the Royal Palm Springs Golf Club. We did drive by it and it appeared rather deserted and the || Duta Grand Resort looked a bit run down. My next posting is going to be a complete 180 degree change from the tropical climate of Malaysia. We are heading to Juno, Alaska. I have already started looking at reversible cold weather clothingsuch as the insulated North Face reversible jackets at BobsSportsChalet.com (like the Metropolis Parka), for the wife. It's going to be a surprise present since we will be arriving in Alaska on the date of our fifteenth anniversary. The name Metropolis Parka is a bit misleading since this is a fairly long coat hitting just at the knees rather than just below the waist. I think it should keep her warm and toasty during the cold months. I know she is looking at North Face kid's jackets which was actually the inspiration for my choosing this jacket/ coat for her. Now, I have to just find a toasty North Face jacket for myself. It's weird shopping for cold weather clothing when it is hot and humid outside.
